PickHacks is Missouri S&T's annual hackathon — an innovation competition where students come together to bring a project to life over the course of a weekend. You come up with the idea, and we provide mentors, resources, and anything else you need. Programming experience isn't necessary; the only requirement is a willingness to learn and have fun! Plus, it's FREE!
Pickhacks is taking place the weekend of April 9th through 11th!
All virtual! Once you sign up, you will receive an email with information about how to get into the event. Hopin will be the main platform used, along with Discord
Anyone currently enrolled in an educational institution (high school and above) or 12 months out of graduation is able to attend. You don't even have to know how to code to join! Just come in with an open mind and fun ideas to expand on, and you'll be set!
This year, our theme is "festival", a homage to the entertainment industry and the communities behind it.
Right after you RSVP and are accepted into the event, you can fill out a shipping form. Swag will then be sent out before the event in accordance with your responses, so you can rep the gear while you're hacking away!
If you have any other questions that are not listed here, feel free to reach out to us at pickhacks@mst.edu or on our social media!
