Spring 2021

Since its 1st event in 2019, PickHacks has become one of the largest hackathons in the Midwest. We hope that you'll join us, and 499 other students, in this unforgettable experience.

PickHacks is Missouri S&T's annual hackathon — an innovation competition where students come together to bring a project to life over the course of a weekend. You come up with the idea, and we provide mentors, resources, and anything else you need. Programming experience isn't necessary; the only requirement is a willingness to learn and have fun! Plus, it's FREE!

Spring, 2021

The exact date is TDB, but the event is happening in Spring, 2021.

Anyone currently enrolled in an educational institution (high school and above) or 12 months out of graduation is able to attend. Those under the age of 18 will need a chaperone.

This year, our theme is "festival", a homage to the entertainment industry and the communities behind it. There will be specific prize tracks surrounding this theme, which will be released at the beginning of the event.

Buses will be provided for nearby schools with seating available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Gas reimbursement will be provided to those who show their receipts. Flights will not be reimbursed this year.
